ALLIANCE FOR A HEALTHIER WORLD ICONS

In developing this set of icons for Johns Hopkins Alliance for a Healthier World initiative (AHW), I worked closely with my client to represent the various aspects of each research and innovation theme as a complete set of icons that can be used across AHW’s materials and outreach and that match AHW’s overall branding. The set includes a spot illustration containing versions of all four icons (above), four round story icons, and four simplified icons.

Images repeat across all three versions of the icons, and the contents of each thematic area were distilled and refined by working collaboratively with my client to develop a visual hierarchy that allowed the icons to exist in various forms. The icons were originally drawn by hand, then processed and coloured in in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to create scaleable vector files.
