About

Jessica Bromley Bartram is an illustrator, graphic designer, and embroidery enthusiast who lives in Ottawa.

With all of her creative pursuits, she’s interested in process, collaboration, and communication. Her home studio is filled to bursting with all kinds of different materials and media, including watercolours, embroidery thread, gouache, ink, and fancy paper.

Many of these analogue items show up in both her illustration and design work, bringing warmth and character to the things she creates (and appealing to her constant desire for new artistic experiences!).

She has a BA hon. in English from the University of Guelph (2003-2007) and a second Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from the Ontario College of Art & Design (2010-2015), where she won the Graphic Design Medal for her final thesis project at the 2015 Graduate Exhibition.
